GP FOR REVENUE 2 The Court made the following order:- The present writ petition is filed challenging the action of the respondents in not considering the representation dated 09.12.2024 of the petitioner for removal of encroachments from Government land, which is ear marked for panchayat road and irrigation land comprised in Sy.No.842, 844, 845-2 and 845-3 of Varigonda Village, T.P.Gudur Mandal, SPSR Nellore District. 2. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for revenue furnished written instructions dated 30.01.2025, which was addressed by the Tahsildar (FAC), Thotapalli Guduru Mandal, Sri Potti Sriramulu Nellore District, to the Government Pleader for Revenue Office, High Court of Andhra Pradesh. The relevant portion of the proceedings is hereby extracted, for the benefit of the disposal of the writ petition: It is submitted that the Donka poramboke and Kunta poramboke vested with concerned Grama Panchayat, action will be initiated by the concerned Grama Panchayat Secretary duly following procedure under AP Panchayar Raj Act, 1994 and G.O.Ms.No.188 Panchayat Raj and Rural Development (Pts.lv) Department, dt.21-07-2011. Soon after receipt of the representation from the writ petitioner, the 3rd respondent herein instructed the VRO and Village Surveyor, Varigonda to conduct survey and identified the encroachments if any in Sy.Nos.842, 844, 845/2 & 845/3 of Varigonda village and submit their report. The Village Revenue Officer and Village Surveyor, Varigonda, have enquired and indentified the encroachments in the subject land and submit encroachers list. The list of the encroachments sent to the Panchayat Secretary, Varigonda, to take further action to evict the encroachments. 3 Further it is submitted that the 3rd respondent herein, shall extend necessary support to the Panchayat Secretary, Varigonda, at the time of eviction of encroachments. 3. Upon perusal of the proceedings dated 30.01.2025, it appears that the respondents have identified the encroachments and the process is going on for removal of the encroachments. As already the respondents have initiated action against the encroachers, no further orders are required in the present writ petition. 4. Accordingly, the present Writ Petition is closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
