This writ petition is filed aggrieved by the action of the respondents for non-payment of the bills for the works undertaken by the petitioner. 2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has entered into the contract with the 2nd respondent – corporation for execution of the works viz., (i) procurement of standby motors for the water supply system under 15th FC 2020-21, vide agreement No.08/2022-23, dt.27.05.2022, (ii) Gollaprolu Nagar Panchayat providing CC roads ECB colony Puntha road to EBC colony main road at ECB colony, vide agreement No.39/2020-2021, dt.05.12.2020, and (iii) providing CC road Vidyardhi School to national High Way Road at EBC colony in 18th ward, vide agreement No.38/2020-21, dt.04.12.2020. 3. The learned counsel further submits that the petitioner duly executed all the works and thereafter submitted final bills to a sum of Rs.5,03,235/-. It is submitted that the final bills were duly endorsed by the competent authority. A statement detailing the work executed by the petitioner was prepared and the progress of the work was recorded in the M-book. However, no payment was made to the petitioner. 3 W.P. Heard the submissions of the learned counsel for the petitioner, the learned Government Pleader for Municipal Administration & Urban Development, the learned Standing Counsel for the Corporation and the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Finance and Planning. 5. During the course of hearing, the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the Corporation does not dispute the submissions made by the petitioner with respect to the completion of the work undertaken. 6. Considering the submissions, respondents 2 and 3 are hereby directed to verify and release the payments due payable to the petitioner as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of four (04) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 7.
