The petitioner has preferred the present petition against the show cause notice dated 05.04.2024 issued by the respondent No.2/District Magistrate, Bijnor by which the firearm license of the petitioner has been suspended. 2. It is argued by learned counsel for the petitioner that the reply of the aforesaid show cause notice has already been submitted by the petitioner on 20.11.2024 but till date no decision has been taken in the matter. 3. On the other hand, it is argued by learned Standing Counsel that the respondent No.2 will take a decision in t he matter expeditiously. 4. Heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the record. 5. In the facts and circumstances of the case, the present petition is disposed of directing the respondent No.2/District Magistrate, Bijnor to take a decision in the matter most expeditiously and preferably within a period of six weeks from the date of production of certified copy of this order.
