1. Heard Mr. Ravi Kumar Bhagat, learned counsel for the applicant.
2. This criminal revision has been filed by the applicant seeking following relief:
“It, is therefore prayed that, Hon'ble Court be kind AKHILESH KUMAR DEWANGAN Digitally signed by AKHILESH KUMAR DEWANGAN
2 allow the instant Revision and set aside the order impugned dated 27/02/2024 passed in Misc. Case no. 1007/23 by learned Principal Family Court Durg, District - Durg, (Annexure A/1), in the interest.”
3. The present criminal revision is barred by 432 day of its limitation as has been reported by the Registry.
4. It is pertinent to note that the applicant has not filed any application under Section 5 of the Limitation Act seeking condonation of delay, nor is there any affidavit explaining sufficient cause for the said delay.
5. In absence of such an application and supporting affidavit, the revision petition is clearly barred by limitation.
6. Accordingly, the Criminal Revision stands dismissed on the ground of limitation alone.
7. A certified copy of this order be sent to the concerned Family Court for necessary information and compliance forthwith. Sd/-
