Heard Sri Umesh Chandra PVG, learned counsel for the 2. petitioner. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor representing the 3. State takes notice for respondent No.1. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner presented a report to the Police vide Crime No.51 of 2020 for the offence under Sections 420, 506 r/w 34 I.P.C. Police after investigation laid final report before the learned Magistrate. The petitioner filed protest petition/objections against the final report in the year 2023, and the same is pending before the learned Magistrate without any progress. 4. I V In these circumstances, the petitioner approached this Court to direct the learned Magistrate to dispose of the 5. 4 objections/protest petition filed by the petitioner, as expeditiously as possible. 6. Considering the above facts and circumstances, as already two years are over, this Court is of the considered opinion that the Criminal Petition can be disposed of at the stage of admission, without going into the merits of the case, by directing the learned Magistrate to dispose of the R.C.S.R.No.3577 of 2023 in Crime No.51 of 2020 on the file of the learned Judicial First Class Magistrate, Prathipadu, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of three (03) months, from the date of receipt of copy of this order. 7. Accordingly, the Criminal Petition is disposed of at the stage of admission with the above direction.
