GP FOR HOME The Court made the following order: 3 THE HONOURABLE DR JUSTICE VENKATA JYOTHIRMAI PRATAPA WRIT PETITION NO: 33969 OF 2025 ORDER: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer for: “…to issue a Writ/Order/ Direction more particularly one in the Nature of Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the Respondents in not registering a Crime against the named individuals pursuant to Complaint dated 15.11.2025 as illegal, arbitrary without jurisdiction besides violation of Art. 14 and 21 of the Constitution of India and consequently direct the respondent police to register a Crime against the individuals named pursuant to complaint dated 15.11.2025 forthwith and to pass ….” 2. Heard Sri Srinivasulu Kurra, learned counsel for the petitioner, and Sri V. Farooq, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home, appearing for the official respondents. 3. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home would submit that the respondent police received the petitioner’s complaint dated 15.11.2025, conducted an enquiry, and found that the dispute raised therein is civil in nature. 4. Sri Srinivasulu Kurra, learned counsel for the petitioner, vehemently opposed the said submission, contending that the petitioner’s GPA holder instead of giving money to him, transferred the amount to the purchaser, and therefore the matter cannot be treated as a civil dispute. 4 5. In that view, it is apposite to dispose of the present Writ Petition by giving liberty to the petitoner to work out his remedies before the competent forum in accordance with law. 6. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
