The petitioner has been made accused in connection with N.D.P.S. Case No. 29/2023 corresponding to Maranghada P.S. Case No. 11 of 2023, for the offences registered under Sections 15(C), 22, 25 of the N.D.P.S. Act, pending in the Court of learned District Additional Session Judge-II, Khunti. 3. On 09.04.2023, the petitioner alongwith co-accused was apprehended by Maranghada Police near village Binkund Bichagutu and on search, 512.400 Kgs of poppy husk were recovered from their joint possession. The quantum of seized contraband comes within the purview of commercial quantity. 4. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner has submitted that co-accused Mangra Munda has been granted bail by a Co-ordinate Bench of this Court. 5. Mr. Sunil Kumar Dubey, learned A.P.P. submitted that the petitioner has also got criminal antecedent. 6. In view of the aforesaid facts, I am not inclined to release the petitioner, on bail.
