The Court made the following:
ORDER:
This Writ Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India is filed by the Petitioners seeking the following relief:
“...
to issue an appropriate Writ, Order or Direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the Respondent No.2 in not initiating any action against the respondent No.4 despite the representation dated 17.08.2021 as he is repeatedly calling the petitioners to Police Station and threatening and insisting the Petitioners to settle the Dispute pertaining to the father/father-in-law of the petitioners as illegal, arbitrary, unjust, improper, colourable exercise of power, violative of Articles 14 and 21 of the Constitution of India and contrary to the Police Standing Orders and consequently, direct Respondent No.2 to consider the representation of the petitioners dated 17.08.2021 and direct the 4th respondent not to call the petitioners to the police Station and pass such ....”
Heard learned counsel for the Petitioners and learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home appearing for respondent State. Perused the material on record. The grievance of the Petitioners is that respondent Police are calling them to the Police Station and insisting them to settle the disputes with the father of Petitioner No.2. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home on instructions would submit that respondent Police never interfered in the disputes of the parties and did not call them to the petitioners at any point of time and would finally submit that necessary orders may be passed by disposing of this Writ Petition. In that view, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No order as to costs. Pending applications, if any, shall stand closed. DR.JUSTICE VENKATA JYOTHIRMAI PRATAPA Mjl/*
