2. In this writ petition, petitioner has challenged Notice dated 29.06.2018, issued by District Magistrate, Udham Singh Nagar under Section 3 of U.P. Control of Goondas Act, 1970.
3. As per Section 3(3)(a) of the Act, an externment order passed against any person remains valid only for a period of six months. No interim order was passed in this writ petition. Thus, the externment order, if any, passed against the petitioner, would have expired long back.
4. Thus, the relief as claimed for do not survive. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous.
