The petitioners and the 1®* respondent in both the criminal petitions have instituted legal proceedings against each other, resulting in a case and a counter-case. The dispute arises on account of the differences in the financial transactions. In connection with this St dispute, the petitioners lodged a complaint against the 1 respondent, who, in turn, filed a counter-complaint against the petitioners. Both criminal cases are sought to be compounded. 2. Although the offence alleged against the petitioners falls under Section 109 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita [for short ‘B.N.S.’], which pertains to attempt to murder, the material on record indicates that an altercation occurred, during which the petitioners allegedly assaulted the respondent with a stick. 3. The learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned counsel for the respondent/ de facto complainant submit that the parties have amicably settled their dispute and in both the criminal petitions, the petitioners and the 1®' respondent have filed I.A. Nos.2 and 3 of 2025 accompanying the respective affidavits of the respondent/ CRLP. Nos.4738 & 4739 OF 2025 de facto complainants and the joint memo, seeking the permission of this Court to allow the petitioners and the de facto complainant to compound the offence under Sections 109 (1), 118(1) read with 3(5) of the B.N.S. and Sections 3(1)(r)(s), 3(2)(v) of SC & ST (POA) Act, 1989 registered against the petitioners in Crime No.331 of 2024 and the offences under Sections 109 (1), 118(1) read with 3(5) of the BNS in Crime No,332 of 2024 of Medikonduru Police Station, Guntur District. 4. The petitioners and the 1"' respondent/de facto complainant in both cases are present in the Court. The respective counsel identified the parties, and the identity cards of both parties were verified. 5. The 1®‘ respondent in both the criminal petitions submits that, pursuant to the intervention of well-wishers, they have withdrawn the allegations against the petitioners. The de facto complainants informed the Court that the compromise was reached voluntarily, without coercion or undue influence. 6. Recording the submissions of the 1®'respondent, the respective I.A.
