2025:KER:26616 W.P (C) No.12094/2025 -2- J U D G M E N T The petitioner availed a Housing loan from the respondent bank. On default being committed, proceedings have been initiated against the petitioner under the provisions of the Securitisation and Reconstruction of Financial Assets and Enforcement of Security Interest Act, 2002 prompting the petitioner to approach this court by filing the above writ petition. 2. The learned counsel appearing for the respondent bank submits that the sale of the secued asset was scheduled to be held on 26-03-2025. It is submitted that no sale took place as there were no bidders. The learned counsel for the respondent bank submits that the writ petition may therefore be closed. 3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner only seeks 4 weeks time to clear the entire liability to the respondent bank. 4. Having heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Standing counsel appearing for the respondent bank, this writ petition will stand disposed of directing the the steps for notifying the sale of the secured asset shall be deferred by a period of 4 weeks from today (27-03-2025) to enable the petitioner to clear the entire liability. If the petitioner does not clear the entire liability within the aforesaid period of 4 weeks, it is open to
