For the respondents : Mr. Shivank Singh Panta, Advocate. Ajay Mohan Goel, Judge (Oral) By way of this writ petition, the petitioner has, inter alia, prayed for the following reliefs:-
“i) That the respondents may kindly be directed to grant and release the arrears of Revised Pay scale to the petitioner w.e.f. 01.01.2016 alongwith interest @ 9% per annum till the date of its realization. (ii) That the respondents may kindly be directed to pay the Gratuity and Leave Encashment to the petitioner strictly as 1Whether reporters of the local papers may be allowed to see the judgment?
2 2025:HHC:1790 calculated and sanctioned vide Annexure-P2 alongwith interest @9% per annum from the due date, i.e. 31.05.2024, till the date of its realization. (iii) That the respondents may kindly be directed to pay the ADA and balance amount of 50% interim relief with interest @ 9% per annum from the due date till its realization.”
2. The Court stands informed that in a similar case, Hon’ble Coordinate Bench of this Court in CWP No. 4427 of 2023 titled Tulsi Ram Vs. HPTDCL a/w connected matters, decided on 11.01.2024, has been pleased to grant six months time to the respondent-Corporation to pay the due and admissible amount to the petitioner.
3. Accordingly, as prayed for, this Writ Petition is disposed of with the direction that let the due and admissible amount be paid to the petitioner, within a period of four months from today, along- with statutory interest, if any. Pending miscellaneous application(s), if any also stand disposed of accordingly.
