For Petitioner : Ms.Chandhini Pradeep Kumar For Respondent : Mr.P.Kumaresan assisted by Mr.S.Balamurugan, Additional Advocate General O R D E R This Contempt Petition has been filed to punish the respondents for non-compliance of the order dated 08.04.2024 passed by this Court in W.P.No.6967 of 2022 thereby directed to provide horizontal reservation 1/3 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis Cont.P.No.1393 of 2025 to the transgender community in compliance of the Judgment of Hon'ble Supreme Court of India in NALSA v Union of India reported in (2014) 5 SCC 438, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the order. 2. The learned Additional Advocate General Government Advocate appearing for the respondents submitted that he has filed a memo stating that aggrieved by the order dated 08.04.2024 passed by this Court in W.P.No.6967 of 2022, the respondent filed W.A.No.2122 of 2025 in which the Hon'ble Division Bench of this Court had granted interim stay. 3. In view of the above submissions, this Contempt Petition is closed at present.
