1. This is an office reference.

This Court, vide order dated 21.04.2025, passed in MCRC No. 1779/2025, while allowing the bail to the petitioners, namely, Sushant Behera, Abhay Singh Baghel and Swastik Pathak , had expressed its trust that the trial Court should make an earnest endeavor to conclude the trial expeditiously in accordance with law, preferably within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of the order, if there was no legal impediment. 3. The learned Special Judge (NDPS Act), Raipur, District – Raipur (C.G.) through Principal District and Sessions Judge, Raipur, District – Raipur (C.G.) vide his request letter dated 28.11.2025 has requested for grant of 06 month’s time for concluding the trial.
4. It transpires from perusal of the PUD, that the trial is at the stage of examination of accused Sushant Behera, and he had become absent and he is resident of Orissa and the arrest warrant is to be issued against him. Hence, trial is likely to take some time for its conclusion. Hence, he prays for grant of 06 month’s time for concluding the trial.
5. The request appears to be reasonable. The concerned trial Court is directed to conclude the trial as early as possible, preferably within a further period of 06 months from today.
6. Accordingly, this CRMP stands disposed of with the aforesaid direction.
7. Registry is directed to send a certified copy of this order to the trial Court concerned for necessary information and compliance. Sd/-
