The appeal was filed by Sindhu @ Jitendra Nathabhai Jadav who was sentenced for seven years rigorous imprisonment and fine of Rs.10,000/-, in default of payment of fine, six months simple imprisonment for the offence punishable under Section 306 of IPC. Set off was given under Section 428 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973. 1.1 He was also convicted for one year rigorous imprisonment and Rs.5,000/- fine and in default of payment of fine, three months simple imprisonment for the offence punishable under Section 498A IPC. The sentence was ordered to run concurrently. R/CR.A/1192/2006 ORDER DATED: 05/08/2025 2. Today, the jail remarks has been produced by Ms. Monali Bhatt, learned APP and as per the jail remarks, the appellant has already served sentence on 1.8.2011 and has been released from jail on the said date. Jail remarks is taken on record. 3. In view of the above, since the accused has served the sentence, the present appeal stands disposed of as no ground survives.
