Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying that in the circumstances stated in the affidavit filed therewith, the High Court may be pleased topleased to issue an appropriate Writ, Order or Direction, more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus, to declare the action of the respondents in issuing the passport bearing No. ZA187667 to the petitioner herein only for one year i.e., from 1-7-2025 to 30-6-2026 instead of 10 years. as being illegal, arbitrary, contrary to the provisions of the Passport Act, 1987 and the Passport Rules, 1980 and consequently direct the respondent authorities to re-issue the passport to the petitioner for 10 years as per the provisions of Passport Act, 1967 and Passport Rules, 1980, and to grant IA NO: 1 OF 2025 Petition under Section 151 CPC praying that in the circumstances stated in the affidavit filed in support of the petition, the High Court may be pleased pleased to direct the 3rd respondent herein to re-issue the Passport No. ZA187667 to the petitioner for a period of 10 years, pending disposal of the main Writ Petition, and to pass such Counsel for the Petitioner:
