The petitioner has filed the instant petition under Section 482 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 for grant of anticipatory bail in FIR No.15 dated 22.03.2025 registered under Sections 498-A, 406 & 506 of Indian Penal Code, 1860 and Section 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961 at Police Station Women Cell, Ferozepur. 2. Status report by way of an affidavit of Sh. Rajbir Singh, PPS, Deputy Superintendent of Police (CAW&C), Ferozepur, on behalf of respondent No.1-State filed in the Registry is taken on record. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that, in pursuance to the order dated 03.05.2025 passed by this Court, the petitioner has appeared before the Investigating Officer and has joined the investigation. 4.
