Also heard on petition filed under Section 528 of the BNSS, 2023 for restoration of Acquittal Appeal No.72 of 2017. 3. The present petition has been filed seeking restoration of Acquittal Appeal No. 72 of 2017 which was dismissed for want of prosecution vide order dated 20.12.2024. 4. Considering the grounds & reasons assigned in the instant petition, the same is allowed and Acquittal Appeal No. 72 of 2017 is restored to its original number subject to the petitioner depositing cost of Rs.3,000/- to the High Court Legal Services Committee.
