2. Petitioner has been made accused in connection with S.T. Case No. 429 of 2024 arising out of Gidhour P.S. Case No. 53 of 2024 Corresponding to G.R. No. 1484 of 2024 for the offences registered under section 108 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, pending in the court of learned A.D.J.-II, Chatra.
3. On 14.08.2024, wife of the petitioner committed suicide by jumping in the well.
4. It was submitted that there is nothing on the record to suggest that the petitioner had abetted the deceased to commit suicide.
5. Learned A.P.P has opposed the prayer for bail and submitted that prior to the occurrence, petitioner had talked to the deceased 7-8 times on mobile phone.
6. Considering the nature of allegation, I am inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned A.D.J.-II, Chatra in connection with S.T. Case No. 429 of 2024 arising out of Gidhour P.S. Case No. 53 of 2024 Corresponding to G.R. No. 1484 of 2024.
