Page 2 of 5 ...RESPONDENT(S): Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying that in the circumstances stated in the affidavit filed therewith, the High Court may be pleased toto issue a writ, order or direction more particularly one in the nature of WRIT OF MANDAMUS declaring the action of the respondents in non- payment of amounts due for the last three years even after finalizing the bills, payable to the petitioner after the successful completion of the execution of different irrigation works i.e., Desilting of Kundu from Ch. 6.820 Km to 7.020 Km 7.030 Km to 7.230 Km 7.240 Km to 7.440 Km 7.450 Km to 7.650 Km and 7.660 Km to 7.860 Km near Rupanagudi Village in Uyyalawada Mandal in Kurnool District under Neeru-Chettu programme duly approved by the respondents, as illegal, arbitrary unjust, unreasonable and unconstitutional and consequently direct the respondents to consider the payment of amounts due to the petitioner in respect of execution of said works forthwith and to pass IA NO: 1 OF 2022 Petition under Section 151 CPC praying that in the circumstances stated in the affidavit filed in support of the petition, the High Court may be pleased to direct the respondents to pay the amounts payable to the petitioner for different irrigation works i.e., "Desilting of Kundu from Ch. 6.820 Km to 7.020 Km; 7.030 Km to 7.230 Km; 7.240 Km to 7.440 Km; 7.450 Km to 7.650 Km and 7.660 Km to 7.860 Km near Rupanagudi Village in Uyyalawada Mandal in Kurnool District" executed by her under "Neeru-Chettu" programme immediately, pending disposal of the main writ petition and pass Counsel for the Petitioner: 1. JUSTICE V.SUJATHA WRIT PETITION No.2919 of 2022 ORDER: The present Writ Petition came to be filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking the following relief:- “….to issue a writ, order or direction more particularly one in the nature of WRIT OF MANDAMUS declaring the action of the respondents in non-payment of amounts due for the last three years even after finalizing the bills, payable to the petitioner after the successful completion of the execution of different irrigation works i.e., Desilting of Kundu from Ch. 6.820 Km to 7.020 Km 7.030 Km to 7.230 Km 7.240 Km to 7.440 Km 7.450 Km to 7.650 Km and 7.660 Km to 7.860 Km near Rupanagudi Village in Uyyalawada Mandal in Kurnool District under Neeru-Chettu programme duly approved by the respondents, as illegal, arbitrary unjust, unreasonable and unconstitutional and consequently direct the respondents to consider the payment of amounts due to the petitioner in respect of execution of said works forthwith and to pass…” 2. When the matter came up for admission on 07.02.2022, this Court passed the following interim order:- “The respondent authorities are directed to pay the bill amounts due to the petitioner within four weeks from now.” 3. Today, when the matter came up for hearing, learned Assistant Government Pleader has furnished the copy of the letter addressed by the Executive Engineer, W.R.D., K.C. Canal Division, Nandyal vide Letter No:EE/KCC/DIVN/NDL/AB/A5/ dated Nil.09.2025, wherein the details of the amounts paid to the petitioner are furnished, asunder: Sl.
