The application in I.A.No.2 and 3 of 2024 are filed seeking to compromise the case. A joint memo is also filed by the Petitioner and Respondent No.2 for compromise. 3. The case in between the Petitioner and the Respondent No.2 has been compromised. In view of the compromise affected in between the Petitioner and the Respondent No.2, the Criminal Revision Case is disposed of as compromised. Resultantly, the Petitioner is acquitted under Section 320(8) of ‘the Cr.P.C.,’ by giving permission to the Petitioner to compromise the offence with the Petitioner under Section 147 of ‘the N.I.Act.,’ read with 320 (6) of the ‘Cr.P.C’. 4. Accordingly, the I.A.No.2 and 3 of 2024 are allowed, and the Criminal Revision Case is disposed of as compromised by compounding the offence. Consequently, the conviction and sentence passed by the learned VI Additional Judicial Magistrate of I Class, Rajamahendravaram in C.C.No.341 of 2015, dated 13.06.2022, as confirmed in Criminal Appeal No.157 of 2022, dated 14.07.2022, by the learned VIII Additional District and Sessions Judge- cum- Special Judge for trial of offences against Women, East Godavari District at Rajamahendravaram, are set aside, as a result, the Petitioner is acquitted. 5. However, the Hon’ble Apex Court in Sanjabij Tari v. Kishore S. Borcar1 observed that the case can be compromised at the level of the High Court in a revision subject to the accused paying 7.5% of the cheque amount towards costs to the Legal Services Authority, as per para No.38 of the judgment. 6. The Petitioner has also paid an amount of Rs. 11,250/- towards costs before the A.P High Court Legal Services Committee on 13.10.2025 and filed Receipt to that effect along with Memo.
