Heard Mr. A.R. Bhuyan, learned counsel for the applicant. Also heard Mr. S.M.T. Chistie, learned Standing counsel for the respondent Nos. 1, 2 and 3 and Mr. D.K. Roy, learned Standing counsel for the ASSEB. 2. This interlocutory application is preferred by the applicant for impleading the Assam State School Education Board as respondent No. 4 in WP(C) No. 6896/2024, in place of Secondary Education Board of Assam. 3. Mr. Bhuyan, learned counsel for the applicant submits that the applicant has preferred one writ petition, being WP(C) No. 6896/2024, and in the said writ petition, the applicant has arrayed the Secondary Education Board of Assam as respondent No. 4, but the said Secondary Education Board of Assam is now not in existence in view of creation of the Assam State School Education Board and as such, there is a requirement for impleading the Assam State School Education Board as respondent No. 4 in WP(C) No. 6896/2024, in place of the Secondary Education Board of Assam. 4. Mr. Chistie, learned Standing counsel for the respondent Nos. 1, 2 and 3 submits that he has no objection in the event of making the aforementioned correction in WP(C) No. 6896/2024. 5. Having heard the submissions of learned Advocates of both sides, and also considering the facts and circumstances on the record, this interlocutory application stands allowed.
Accordingly, it is provided that the Assam State School Education Board be arrayed as respondent No. 4 in WP(C) No. 6896/2024, in place of the Secondary Education Board of Assam. 6. Mr. Bhuyan, learned counsel for the applicant shall file amended cause title of WP(C) No. 6896/2024 within a period of one week from today. 7. In terms of above, this I.A. stands disposed of.
