GP FOR HOME The Court made the following: ORDER: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer for: “.... a Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of respondents in continuing the Rowdy Sheet No 320 dated on 13-09-2019, against him even after acquittal in the solitary crime registered against him 2 by the learned on the file of the XI Additional Sessions Judge Tenali, Guntur District, by a judgment dated 24-04-2023 in S.C No. 205 of2021 and making him to sit there for hours together offering threats to him on pretext of counselling time and again, requiring his bind over as being illegal, arbitrary, he letter and spirit of catena of judgments rendered by , Honorable Supreme Court on human dignity and protection of human rights apart from being violative of articles 20 and 21 of the constitution of India, and consequently direct the respondents to close the rowdy sheet against the petitioner.” 2. Sri Zampani Bhanu Raja, learned counsel for the Petitioner would submit that, no cases are pending against the Petitioner and hence, the impugned rowdy sheet may be set aside. 3. Sri P.Ajay Babu, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home would submit that there are no cases pending against the Petitioner. 4. Considering the submissions made and since no material is placed before the Court to show that the behavior of the Petitioner is a threat to the public peace in the vicinity, the Writ Petition is allowed and the impugned Rowdy Sheet against the Petitioner is hereby set aside. There shall be no order as to costs.
