The Court made the following: ORDER: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer for: “.... to issue a writ, order or direction more particularly one in the nature of writ of Mandamus to declare the action of the Respondents in opening the Suspect Sheet vide C.No.06/BC/SDPC-PTR/11 Dated 26.11.2011 against the Petitioner and continuing the same in the 1st and 2nd Respondents Police Stations, even though crimes are settled much before the opening of Suspect Sheet as Arbitrary, Illegal and contrary to the Andhra Pradesh Police Manual Police 2 Standing Order No.600- 1 and violation of Article 14 and 21 of the Constitution of India and consequently direct the Respondents to close the Suspect Sheet opened against the Petitioner vide C.No.06/BC/SDPC-PTR/11 Dated 26.11.2011 pending before the Respondents No.1 and 2 Police Stations” 2. Heard Sri Sazid Kallur, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri Md.Farooq, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home. 3. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home would submit that no cases are pending against the petitioner. It is further stated that, to curb and curtail the unlawful activities of the Petitioner in the vicinity, Suspect sheet was opened against the Petitioner. 4. Learned counsel for the Petitioner would submit that, the cases registered against the Petitioner were ended in acquittal and no cases are pending against him. 5. Considering the submissions made, the Writ Petition is allowed and the Suspect Sheet opened against the petitioner vide C.No.06/BC/SDPO-PTR/11, dated 26.11.2011 is hereby set aside. There shall be no order as to costs.
