Contending that the said assessment is erroneous, an appeal has been preferred as Ext.P2 along with which a stay petition has also been filed. The limited relief now sought for by the petitioner is for a direction to consider and dispose of Ext.P2 appeal as well as the stay petition in a time bound manner. 2. Having heard the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned Standing counsel, I am of the view that this writ petition can be disposed of with a direction. 3. Accordingly, there will be a direction to the second respondent to consider and pass appropriate orders on Ext.P3 stay petition filed in Ext.P2 appeal, as expeditiously as possible, at any rate, within an outer period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.
