The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Masalia P.S. Case No. 43 of 2024, for the offence registered under Section 303(2) of B.N.S., 2023, pending in the court of learned C.J.M., Dumka. On 01.09.2024, theft of 24 batteries was committed from B.S.N.L. Tower at Golbazar, Sivakol and Kenduatanr. During the course of investigation, two batteries were recovered from the possession of the petitioner. It was submitted that petitioner is in custody since last six months. It was further submitted that offence alleged is triable by the Court of Judicial Magistrate. In view of the submission made above, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned C.J.M., Dumka, in connection with Masalia P.S.
