GP FOR FINANCE PLANNING The Court made the following: ORDER The Writ Petition is filed questioning the action of the respondent authorities in not releasing Rs.4,22,793/- even after finalizing the bills in relation to the works of Construction of C.C.Drain from Vemula Nageswara Rao House to Nannam Chennakesavulu Hosuein Nandivelugu Vilalge of Tenali Rural Mandal. 3. Ms. Naga Chandrika, learned Assistant Government Pleader, by placing on record the written instructions of the Executive Engineer, RWS &S Division, Guntur submitted that the authorities admitted balance amount due to the petitioner of Rs.4,22,793/- and prayed to grant eight (08) weeks time to the authorities to pay the amount to the petitioner. 4. Ms.D.Madhavi, learned counsel, for Smt. Modapothula Sumalatha, learned counsel for the petitioner, reported no objection for granting time as sought for by the learned Assistant Government Pleader. 5. In view of the above, the writ petition is disposed of directing the authorities concerned to pay to the petitioner the admitted amount of Rs.4,22,793/- within a period of eight (08) weeks from the date of receipt of copy of the amount. The petitioner is at liberty to agitate his claim regarding interest before a competent civil Court. There shall be no order as to costs.
