By this petition, the petitioner seeks the following reliefs: Digitally signed by GOPAL SINGH Date: 2025.05.12 12:28:44 +0530 2 “i) It is therefore prayed that, this Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to call for the entire records of the instant case. ii) That, this Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to issue a writ in nature of mandamus whereby to immediately direct to the Respondents to change the Schedule of examination of B. Com (Hons) NEP-II Semester will be held on 15.05.2025 and 19.05.2025. iii) That, this Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to issue a writ in nature of mandamus whereby to direct to the Respondents to decide the pending representation of the Petitioner within a specified time in accordance with law. iv) Any other relief/reliefs, which this Hon'ble Court may think fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case, with cost of the petition, may also please be granted to the petitioner. v) Cost of the petition may also be granted to the petitioner.” 2. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is a student, who is studying in B.Com (Hons) NEP-II Semester under the Guru Ghasidas University, Bilaspur. He will be participating in the aforesaid exam to be held by the respondent University. Prior to issuance of schedule of the exam, the petitioner made a representation before the respondent University regarding scheduling of concern upcoming semester examinations. It was further mentioned in the representation that as many students from the Commerce Department, including the petitioner, are also appearing for the CA Foundation Examination, scheduling of the Semester 2 Exams may be considered in such a manner that they do not coincide with CA Foundation Exam dates. This will ensure that 3 the students will be able to properly prepare and appear for both the examinations without any difficulty, but, the respondent University has not been given receipt after receiving the representation. The petitioner and other similarly situated students have been making joint representations before the respondent University from time to time for change in the scheduled of the exam, but, the respondent University have ignored the representations of the petitioner as well as other students. The petitioner has also made an online complaint before the PMO Office, Delhi with respect to change of the scheduled of the exam and the same has been forwarded to the respondent University, but, the respondent University have not changed the scheduled of the exam. 3. Learned counsel appearing for the respective respondents jointly submit that the petitioner has a remedy to make a representation to the concerned authorities for redressal of his grievances. 4. I have heard learned counsel appearing for the parties and perused the material available with due care. 5. Having considered the facts and circumstances of the case and the submissions advanced by learned counsel for the parties, the petitioner is granted liberty to file a suitable representation before the concerned respondent university in respect of change of schedule of the examination. The 4 respondents university authorities are also directed to consider the grievances of the petitioner and pass appropriate orders. 6.
