The Court made the following:
:: ORDER ::
The above contempt case has been filed, complaining of the violation of the order dated 20.12.2024, passed in W.P.No.29940 of 2024. 2. Heard learned counsel appearing on either side. 3. The petitioners filed the aforementioned writ petition complaining about the action of respondents 5 & 6 in not allowing them to discharge their duties as Village Organization Assistants in their respective societies. 4. The said writ petition was disposed of on 20.12.2024, directing the aforementioned respondents not to interfere with the petitioners’ discharge of duties as VOAs of their respective societies. 5. In the affidavit filed in support of the contempt case, it was pleaded that the respondent authorities have violated the order dated 20.12.2024. 6. A counter-affidavit has been filed by respondent No.1. Along with the counter-affidavit, resolutions passed by the respective societies have been annexed. A perusal of the resolutions would indicate that by the resolution dated 30.10.2024, one Smt. N. Anitha was elected as the new VOA in the place of the 1st petitioner; by resolution dated 15.12.2024, one Smt. V. Sirisha was elected as the new VOA in the place of the 2nd petitioner; by resolution dated 28.10.2024, one Smt. G. Sivalakshmi was elected as a new VOA in the place of the 3rd petitioner; by resolution dated 15.04.2025, one Smt. K. Vijaya Lakshmi was elected as a new VOA in the place of the 4th petitioner; by resolution dated 10.01.2025, one Smt. Madiga nakkali Jyothi, was elected as a new VOA in the place of the 5th petitioner; by resolution dated 24.10.2024, one Smt. C. Radha was elected new VOA in the place of the 6th petitioner; by resolution dated 21.12.2024, one Smt. A. Rathna Kumari was elected as a new VOA in the place of the 7th petitioner, and by resolution dated 15.12.2024,
one Smt. B. Pranitha was elected as a new VOA in the place of the 8th petitioner. 7. Thus, as seen from the resolutions annexed with the counter-affidavit, the petitioners were replaced with the new incumbents as VOAs. Thus, the contention of the petitioners that the respondents are interfering with their discharge of duties is misplaced.
Hence, this Court does not find any violation of the order dated 20.12.2024, passed in W.P.No.29940 of 2024, and the contempt case is liable to be dismissed. 8. Given the facts and circumstances of the case, the Contempt Case is dismissed. No order as to costs. As a sequel, pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed. ___________________________ JUSTICE SUBBA REDDY SATTI Date: 28.11.2025 TVN
