The present contempt application has been filed pleading willful disobedience of the order dated 9.5.2013 passed by this Court in Second Appeal No.547 of 2013 wherein this Court had directed the parties to maintain status quo regarding the possession and nature of the land in dispute. It is the claim of the applicant that in December 2024, the opposite party no.1 forcibly took possession of the plot after evicting the applicant from the same in disobedience of the order passed by this Court. There is nothing on record to enable this Court to draw any conclusion as to who was in possession of the plot in December 2024 and whether the status quo as existing on the date of the order passed by this Court has been changed or not. In view of the aforesaid, no willful disobedience of the order passed by this Court can be imputed to the opposite parties. The application is dismissed.
