GP FOR SERVICES II The Court made the following: 3 HON’BLE SRI JUSTICE NYAPATHY VIJAY W.P.No.33964 of 2025 ORDER : This writ petition is filed questioning the action of the 5th Respondent-School in not allowing the Petitioner in performing her duties as Watchman without any order of suspension or termination as illegal and arbitrary. 2. The Petitioner was appointed in 2007 as Watchman in the 5th Respondent-School and has been working as such till October, 2025. However, the services of the Petitioner were discontinued. 3. Learned counsel for the Petitioner submits that the Petitioner was informed that the discontinuation was on account of the Petitioner attaining the age of 60 years but the same is incorrect as the age of the Petitioner is 55 years. It is stated that the age of the Petitioner is supported by Aadhar Card and Pan Card of the Petitioner. Learned counsel for the Petitioner filed a letter dated 13.11.2025 issued by Principal, KGBV School, Halaharvi Village, Kurnool Mandal stating that the age of the Petitioner, on verification of the documents, is 23.07.1970 and has been wrongly entered in APCOS LOGIN as 26.10.1965. 4 4. Learned standing counsel for Respondent Nos.2, 3 and 5 Sri K.Raghubabu submits that the services of the Petitioner were discontinued as the Petitioner had attained the age of 60 years as per the records maintained by them. 5. In the light of the submissions made, the writ petition is disposed of with the following directions: (i) The Respondents are directed to take a decision regarding the age of the Petitioner in the light of the letter dated 13.11.2025 issued by Respondent No.5-Principal, KGBV School, Halaharvi Village, Kurnool Mandal and the documents enclosed, within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. (ii) In the event the age of the Petitioner is held as claimed by the Petitioner, the Petitioner shall be continued as Watchman in the Respondent No.5-School, till she attains the age of 60 years.
