Heard Mr. Siddharth Rathod, learned counsel for the petitioner. Also heard Mr. Soumya Rai, learned Panel Lawyer for the respondents/ State. 2. The petitioner has filed this petition praying for following relief:- “ It is therefore, prayed that this Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to allow this petition and quash the impugned First JYOTI SHARMA Digitally signed by JYOTI SHARMA Date: 2025.10.16 17:08:06 +0530 2 Information Report dated 29-08-25 bearing no. 0054/2025 lodge by the police station-Mahila Thana, Raipur (C.G) under section 3(5), 85 of the Bhartiya Nyay Sahita, 2023 against the petitioner and all the consequential criminal investigations pending against the petitioner, which is apparently abuse of process of law and bad in law, as such liable to be quashed by this Hon'ble Court, in the interest of justice.” 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the present is a matrimonial dispute and the matter be referred to mediation center for amicable settlement of the matter. He further submits that the husband has not been made a party and the present petition is filled by the father-in-law and mother-in-law only and seeks permission of this Court to withdraw the present petition with liberty to file a fresh. 4. Learned State counsel has no objection. 5. In view of the submissions made by learned counsel for the petitioner, the present petition is dismissed as withdrawn with the aforesaid liberty. 6. Certified copies of the FIR, charge-sheet, and other documents, if any, may be returned to the petitioner after retaining photocopies of the same.
