This writ petition has been filed seeking a writ of mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 4 to remove the encroachments made by the respondents 5 to 10 in the odai in S.Nos.19/6, 12/6, 13/11 & 14/2 situated at Palacode Revenue Village, Palacode Taluk, Dharmapuri District and to restore the said odai to its original position. 2. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, learned Government Advocate appearing for respondents 1 to 4, submitted, on Page Nos.2/4 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis W.P. No.16526 of 2025 instructions, that the alleged encroachments in the aforesaid odai have already been removed. 3. The learned counsel for the petitioner also does not dispute the removal of encroachments. But, according to him, though encroachments in the odai have been removed, the odai has not been restored to its original state. 4. In reply, the learned Government Advocate submitted that the odai will be restored to its original state within a period of eight weeks. 5. Recording the aforesaid submission of the learned Government Advocate, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the official respondents to restore the odai to its original state within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
