ORAL ORDER (PER: THE HON'BLE MR JUSTICE ANANT RAMANATH HEGDE)
This petition is filed under Articles 226 and 227 of the Constitution of India by the petitioner assailing the order dated 15.09.2025 passed by respondent No.1-Deputy Commissioner.
2. The petitioner has questioned the ex parte interim stay
order granted by the Deputy Commissioner in an appeal filed against the order of the Assistant Commissioner.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that there is a delay of 4757 days in filing the appeal and that stay could not have been granted without notice to the petitioner.
4. The petitioner is at liberty to file an application before the Deputy Commissioner seeking vacation of the ex parte stay
order. If such an application is filed, the same shall be considered in accordance with law.

5. Since impugned stay order is passed without condoning the delay, the objection to application for condonation of delay shall also be decided simultaneously.
6. With these observations, the writ petition is disposed of.
7. It is made clear that no opinion is expressed on the merits of the matter.
