GP FOR HOME The Court made the following: ORDER: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer for: 2 “.... to issue a writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ or direction declaring the action of the 3rd respondent in calling the petitioner repeatedly to the Police Station and pressurizing the petitioner to handover the possession of the 39 ankanams situated in Sy.No. 340/2/1A, 340/2/1B1 situated at Magunta Layout, Nellore, SPSR Nellore District to the 4th and 5th respondents as illegal, arbitrary, one without jurisdiction and violation of Article 21, 300-A of The Constitution of India and consequently direct the 3rd respondent not to call the petitioner to the Police Station and not to pressurize the petitioner to to handover the possession of the 39 ankanams situated in Sy.No. 340/2/1A, 340/2/1B1 situated at Magunta Layout, Nellore, SPSR Nellore District to the 4th and 5th respondents.” 2. Heard Sri C.Subodh, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri Md.Farooq, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home. 3. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home would submit that the police are not interfering in the civil disputes between the parties. 4. Recording the said submissions, the Writ Petition is disposed of. However, the police are directed not to interfere in the civil disputes between the petitioner and unofficial respondents. In the event of any crime registered against the petitioner, the police are directed to follow due process of law. There shall be no order as to costs.
