THIS WRIT PETITION, COMING ON FOR PRELIMINARY HEARING THIS DAY, ORDER WAS MADE THEREIN AS UNDER:
ORAL ORDER (PER: THE HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE SURAJ GOVINDARAJ)
1. The petitioner is before this Court seeking for the following reliefs: a. Issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner as per Annexure-B and C dated 6.1.2025 and 2.5.2025 and direct the respondents to pay the arrears of salary of the petitioner as expeditiously as possible and etc. b. Issue any other appropriate writ or order or direction which deems fit to grant by this Hon’ble Court, in the facts and circumstances of the case. 2. The grievance of the petitioner is that the representation submitted by the petitioner on 6.1.2025 and 02.05.2025 at Annexure-B and C, in pursuance of the order dated 11.1.2022 passed by this Court in the case of The State of Karnataka & Ors. vs. S B Meti & Ors., in WP No.102790 of 2022 dated 28.8.2023 has not been considered and the arrears of salary have not been paid.

3. Whenever any representation has been submitted by a citizen to any authority, it is required that the said Representation to be acted upon and necessary orders to be passed, either accepting or rejecting the Representation submitted in accordance with law. Needless to say, if an order of rejection is passed, the same would have to be accompanied by reasons. Neither having been done, I pass the following: ORDER i. The writ petition is disposed of. ii. A mandamus is issued, directing respondents No.1 to 3 to consider the representation of the Petitioner dated 06.01.2025 and 02.05.2025 at Annexure-B and C within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
