The writ petitioner challenges the inaction on the part of the respondents in granting a Pay protection and Pay fixation as per the Last Pay Drawn of 7th Revised pay commission in accordance with G.O.Ms.No.95, dated 03.04.2012, the instant writ petition is filed. 3. The petitioner contends that he was retired from the Indian Army on 30.09.2015 and subsequently he was selected and appointed as a Police Constable under Ex-servicemen quota in 2018, by the 4th respondent. In the said post, his pay was fixed at Rs. 16,400/- in the scale of Rs.16,400/- - Rs.49,870/-. He seeks pay protection and pay fixation in accordance with G.O.Ms.No.95, dated 03.04.2012. 4. It is argued that the issue raised in the Writ Petition is covered by a judgment of the coordinate bench in W.P.Nos.28527, 28133 & 28164 of 2025. The said writ petitions were disposed of with the following directions: “The Respondents are directed to examine the claim of the Petitioner for Pay protection and Pay Fixation in terms of G.O.Ms.No.95, dated 03.04.2012 within a period of eight weeks from today.” 5. Having regard to the submissions made, this Court deems it appropriate to dispose of the writ petition with a direction to the respondents to examine the claim of the Petitioner for Pay protection and Pay Fixation in terms of G.O.Ms.No.95, dated 03.04.2012 within a period of eight weeks from today. 6. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
