PUBLIC PROSECUTOR (AP) THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE T MALLIKARJUNA RAO Criminal Revision Case No.784 of 2017 ORDER: This Criminal Revision Case has been filed by the petitioner/accused under Sections 397 and 401 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (for short, ‘the Cr.P.C.’) against the Order dated 04.02.2016 passed in Crl.M.P.No.1638 of 2015 in C.C.No.07 of 2009 on the file of learned Principal Junior Civil Judge, Kovvur, (for short, ‘the trial Court’). 2. Heard and perused the record. 3. As seen from the record, this Criminal Revision Case has been filed against the order dated 04.02.2016 passed in Crl.M.P.No.1638 of 2015 in C.C.No.07 of 2009, the petitioner/accused preferred the Criminal Revision Case. The Crl.M.P.No.1638 of 2015 is filed under Section 147 of N.I.Act to compound the offence and receive the deposited D.D. amount of Rs.90,000/- and the same was directed to handover the respondent/complainant. However, the trial Court by recording the certain reasons, dismissed the petition. 4. On 03.11.2025, this Court called for the report from the Principal Junior Civil Judge, Kovvur, regarding the stage of the proceedings in C.C.No.7 of 2009. In compliance of the same, the learned Principal Junior Civil Judge (Junior Division), Kovvur, submitted report dated 25.11.2025, stating that as per the docket order sheet dated 07.04.2017 the C.C.No.07 of 2009, was advanced to that day and the non-bailable warrant pending against the accused was recalled. Further on the same day, the Court allowed the petition filed under Section 257 of Cr.P.C. by the complainant and acquitted the accused under Section 257 of Cr.P.C. 5. In view of the disposal of C.C.No.07 of 2009, this Court finds that the cause for the Criminal Revision Case does not survive. 6. In the result, the Criminal Revision Case is dismissed. 7. In view of the dismissal of this Criminal Revision Case, the Crl.M.P.No.1269 of 2017 is also dismissed. Interim orders granted earlier, if any, shall stand vacated and the miscellaneous applications pending, if any, shall stand closed. _______________________________ JUSTICE T.
