ORDER 13.01.2026
01. 1. Heard learned counsel for the Petitioner and the learned counsel for the State. 2. This is the second journey of the Petitioner to this Court. The Petitioner had approached this Court, ventilating his grievance in W.P.(C) No.29739 of 2025 that in spite of the
recommendation of the District Industries Centre, Bhubaneswar, no allotment had been made in his favour. 3. Considering the same, since this Court was not apprised regarding the further developments, by order dated 05.12.2017 liberty was granted to the Petitioner to make a representation to the appropriate Authority for allotment. 4. It is submitted that in compliance with the same, the Petitioner made a representation, which was disposed of by IDCO Authority by order dated 22.08.2019, which is at Annexure-4. 5. On perusal of the order passed by the IDCO, the prayer of the Petitioner for allotment was not entertained by the land allotment committee (sub-committee), inter alia, on the ground that though the proposal was placed before the said committee, the same was not approved since the “activity of the unit is not permissible.” It is also further stated that the land in question also does not belong to the IDCO. On instruction, it is stated that in the meanwhile the land has been vested with the G.A. department. Such decision has not been assailed. Page 3 of 3
