The petitioner seeks relaxation of bail condition imposed upon him directing him to meet the Investigating officer once a week till submission of charge sheet on the ground that he has joined the MBA course in Bengaluru and it is difficult for him to travel to Mekhliganj Police Station every week. Heard learned counsels for the parties. Learned counsel for the State submits that the petitioner has complied with the conditions imposed upon him and nothing adverse has been reported against him. Investigation is still in progress. In view of the fact that the petitioner is pursuing his studies in Bengaluru at present, bail condition imposed upon him is modified to the extent that he shall meet the Investigating officer once a month till submission of charge sheet. In the event the Investigating officer requires his cooperation in course of investigation, he shall be at liberty to respond to the 2 same through the virtual mode.
