Learned senior counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the charge sheet has already been filed before the learned Trial Court and runs into approximately 22,000 pages. He submits that although a copy of the charge sheet has been supplied to the petitioners, the accompanying relied upon documents have not been furnished. He further submits that the learned Trial Court has already taken cognizance of the matter and, aggrieved by the order taking cognizance, the petitioners have preferred a revision before the learned Sessions Court challenging the said order. Learned senior counsel further submits that petitioner- Anup Sachdeva, had served the complainant company for more than 25 years. He joined the company as a Manager, was subsequently promoted to the position of Joint President, and retired in the year 2023. It is submitted that after his association with a rival company, the present FIR came to be registered against him. He further submits that the petitioner is a senior citizen and is suffering from Stage-III prostate cancer. 4. Learned APP for the State, on instructions from the Investigating Officer, submits that although the FIR is common, the investigation qua the co-accused, Uday Sachdeva, is still in progress. Out of the total eleven accused persons, the charge sheet has been filed against ten accused persons. 5. Learned senior counsel appearing for the complainant submits that she vehemently opposes the interim protection. 6. Having considered the submissions made and taking note of the fact that the charge sheet against petitioner- Anup Sachdeva, has already been filed without his arrest, this Court is of the opinion that he should appear before the learned Trial Court and seek regular bail in accordance with law. 7. Accordingly, petitioner shall appear before the learned Trial Court and file an appropriate application for grant of bail within a period of two weeks from today. 8. In the facts and circumstances of the present case, it is directed that till the learned Trial Court considers and decides the bail application of petitioner on merits, no coercive action shall be taken against him. 9. The learned Trial Court is requested to decide the bail application expeditiously, in accordance with law, without being influenced by any observations made in the present order.
