Crl.O.P.No.12795 of 2025 ORDER The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 316(4), 318(4), 61(2) of BNS Act 2023 [408, 420 and 120(B) of IPC] of in Crime No.164 of 2025, seeks anticipatory bail. 2. The case of the prosecution is that the de facto complainant is a Manager of Pavilzham Jewellers, Coimbatore Branch. A1, an employee, had introduced A2, who took gold worth Rs.10 lakhs and settled the amount in installements. Later, A2 purchased more gold jewels valued at Rs.63,99,108/- without paying installments. It is alleged that A1 and A2 conspired to make purchases on credit and sold the jewels through A3, A4 and A5, thereby created wrongful loss to the complainant jewellers. Hence, the case. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that A3, who is about 70 years old, is a widow with no children and lives with her blind spinster sister. Crl.O.P.No.12795 of 2025 petitioner is innocent, has not committed any offence, as alleged by the prosecution and has been falsely implicated in this case. 4. Learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent Police while opposing the grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner reiterated the prosecution case. 5. Heard both sides and perused the materials available on record. 6. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. 7.
