CORAM : URMILA JOSHI-PHALKE, J. DATED : 20/08/2025 1. By this application, the applicant is seeking withdrawal of the amount deposited vide order dated 25.09.2024 before this Court. 2. By this petition, the petitioner has sought the quashing of the proceedings bearing Summary Criminal Case No.570/2018 for the offence punishable under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act. The petition was allowed on 05.05.2025, which was pronounced on the same day, and therefore, the petitioner, who has deposited the amount to show his bona fide, requested to return the said amount by way of withdrawal of the said amount. Though notice of the said application was issued to the respondent, it could not be served. Considering the order passed by this Court, an 2025:BHC-NAG:8637 (2) 957.appw.157.2025 amount of Rs.33,62,000/- was directed to be deposited by this Court only to show the bona fides. Now the petition is already disposed of in favour of the petitioner. That the petitioner is entitled to receive the said amount. 3.
