(2) This contempt petition has been filed alleging wilful disobedience of the order dated 24.12.2024, passed by Division Bench of this Court in WPSB No. 778 of 2024. By the said order, the effect and operation of the order of compulsory retirement was stayed till the next date of listing. (3) Petitioner contends that authorities have now started de novo enquiry against him for the same set of charges, for which he was compulsorily retired. He contends that the said act of the authorities is in the teeth of the order dated 24.12.2024. (4) This Court is not influenced by the said contention. No restraint was put by Division Bench of this Court on any enquiry against the petitioner. The only order which was passed was against the order of compulsory retirement and its effect and operation was stayed. Since petitioner has been reinstated in service, therefore, no cause of action is made out to initiate contempt proceedings. Accordingly, contempt petition is dismissed.
