Heard learned counsels for the parties. It prima facie appears that there was cross fire at the place of occurrence and the petitioner fled the spot before the police arrived. Considering the prima facie involvement of the petitioner in the alleged offence, this Court is of the view that custodial interrogation of the petitioner is necessary for the purpose of unraveling the truth. Accordingly, prayer for anticipatory bail is rejected. The application for anticipatory bail is, thus, disposed of. Case Diary be returned.
