The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Mango (Olidih) P.S. Case No.310 of 2023, for the offences registered under Sections 20(B)(ii)(C)/22/25/29 of the NDPS Act, pending in the court of learned Special Judge (NDPS), Jamshedpur. Bail application of the petitioner was earlier thrice rejected by this Court. On 27.10.2023, Mango (Olidih) Police seized 20 kgs 600 grams of cannabis from the possession of the petitioner. It was submitted that petitioner is in custody since 27.10.2023. It was further submitted that the quantum of seized cannabis exceeds commercial quantity by merely 600 grams. It was further submitted that till today two witnesses have been examined and after the rejection of the bail application of the petitioner no witness has been examined. In view of the aforesaid fact, I am not inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, his prayer bail is hereby rejected. Learned Court below shall expedite the trial. (Ambuj Nath, J.)
