It was informed that the amount of Rs.1,50,00,000/- (One Crore Fifty Lakhs Only) is sanctioned. Accordingly, the respondents are depositing the said amount with respondent No.2- Deputy Collector Land Acquisition, Amravati, within one week. 2. The contention of the petitioners is that the said amount was due since 2020, and it is being paid in the year 2025. Thus, the respondents are liable to pay interest at the rate of 15% on the said amount till its realization. This issue 922 wp 6164-2024.odt 2 can be decided by the Land Acquisition Officer, considering the facts and circumstances. 3. Accordingly, respondent No.2 is directed to decide the issue of interest within three weeks after deposit of amount. 4.
