2. By this application, the appellant is seeking condonation of delay of 542 days in preferring the appeal.
3. The reasons mentioned in the application is that the appellant is in jail who resided at Khadgi, District Bhandara. As he was unable to contact his relatives and the relevant documents were also not received by him, and therefore, he could not approach to his Counsel, and therefore, the delay is caused.
4. Considering the reasons mentioned in the application and considering the statutory right of preferring the appeal is involved, the delay caused is condoned.
5. The application is disposed of.
6. The appeal be registered.

7. Leave is granted to the appellant to add the victim as a party on the application for suspension of sentence.
8. On adding the victim as a party, notice be issued to the victim, returnable after two weeks.
9. The Police Station Officer, Police Station Kardi, District Bhandara shall intimate non-applicant No.2.
