The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Bhandariya P.S. Case No. 63 of 2023, corresponding to G.R. Case No.337 of 2024, for the offence registered under Section 392 of the Indian Penal Code, pending in the court of Smt. Anulica Kumar, learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st class, Garhwa. On 16.09.2023 at about 8:00 p.m., the informant was waylaid by accused persons near Manjhri forest. The accused persons looted his mobile and motorcycle. It was submitted that though the petitioner has been identified in the T. I. Parade by the informant and the looted mobile phone was also recovered from his possession, but the petitioner is in custody for about two years. Considering the period of custody, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of Smt. Anulica Kumar, learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st class, Garhwa, or her successor, in connection with Bhandariya P.S. Case No. 63 of 2023, corresponding to G.R. Case No.337 of 2024. (Ambuj Nath, J.)
