ORDER:
This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer:
“…to issue a Writ Order or Orders or Direction more particularly one in the Nature of WRIT OF MANDAMUS declaring the inaction of the respondents in not taking action on the 6th Respondent and his henchmen for threatening the petitioner with dire consequences even after complaint given by the petitioner dated 25-04-2023 which is highly illegal, arbitrary and unconstitutional violative of principles of Natural Justice and consequently direct the Respondents to consider the complaint given by the petitioner dated 25-04-2023 by protecting the petitioner from the hands of the 6th respondent and his henchmen who were threatening the petitioner with dire consequences and.…”

When the matter is taken up for hearing, Sri V.Farook, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home, on written instructions, would submit that the 5th respondent did not received any complaint from the petitioner. Later, it came to light that the petitioner sent the representation to the DGP office through registered post and the same was received by the 2nd respondent. He would further submit that the petitioner did not turn up to the police station for enquiry to proceed further in this matter.

Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that recording the same, the petition may be disposed of.

4. Recording the same, this Writ Petition is disposed of. However, the petitioner is at liberty to approach the police to pursue his complaint. There shall be no order as to costs.
